My latest obsession: The interior design skills of Ashe + Leandro. That is, the nexus of So Cal sunshine and the cheery, though sardonic, furnishings of this Laurel Canyon home, the Carpenter House. Like the time I saw Mena Suvari in the Virgin Megastore on Sunset, this place is too beautiful. It hurts my eyes.

I just adore this place.
Of course, it plays into more than a couple of my fetishes: color(!), farmhouses, 19th Century silhouettes and engravings, antique books, striped wallpaper, vintage glass, white coral and seashells — I’ll stop.
